Throughout the year these organizations welcome seafarers and fishers for a visit to a drop-in centre, transportation to the local market, provide an Internet connection to contact their families, and offer a friendly welcome in a foreign port. Since seafarers and fishers are far from family, these organizations also share gifts, especially during the holidays.
