#SeafarersDeliveringChristmas
ICMA is delighted to be one of the supporting organisations to a joint maritime industry initiative – Seafarers Delivering Christmas Campaign. #seafarersdeliveringchristmas
The COVID-19 pandemic and the crew change crisis has placed incredible stress on our seafarers. A coalition of shipping organisations have come together to ensure that seafarers are not forgotten this Christmas. At this special time of year we call on industry, social partners and all who care for seafarers to step up and ensure that those who deliver Christmas to the World are supported. We aim to ensure that no seafarer is forgotten at this time of year. You can support the campaign with the hashtag #SeafarersDeliveringChristmas
No matter if you are a company, family, friend or union – seafarers need your help, for example donating potential gifts or money, providing phone calls or Internet, organising festive activities and more.

Video tribute – ’12 Days of Christmas’
As part of the campaign, we are calling on family, friends and those that stand in solidarity with our seafarers to help us make a festive video tribute just for them. This has been a challenging year for many of us, but seafarers as key workers have had to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the world is supplied with the goods we all need. We want to get as many of you as possible involved so that we can together send a strong message of support and appreciation that will help to lift their spirits.
Get the lyrics/song and upload your video here!
The video will be a singalong of the popular ‘12 Days of Christmas’ song, but with some very special new words written just for seafarers. The video when complete will then be shared across social media channels and appear on this page.
